A. Original Mix
B1. Dusty Kid Reel Mix
B2. The MFA Remix

As the man behind Dusty Kid, and half of Duoteque, Paolo Lodde has had a busy 2007 with releases on Boxer Sport, Kling Klong and Southern Fried, alongside a slew of quality remixes, but he’s found time here to complete his debut for Precinct under his new ‘Monomusique’ tag.

The original mix is a rolling, arpeggio led houser, with towering melodies and a trippy vocal that eases in and out of the mix, riding the chord changes and adding to the spacey, sunrisey feel, and whilst the drums feel clicky, and slightly restrained on record / cd, through a club system, they combine with the fat bass to create a driving, dancefloor cut that treads a line somewhere between electronic disco and uplifting, techy house.

Lastly, Monomusique’s / Dusty Kids Reel Mix strips things back with a linear, hypnotic outing perfect for afterhours dancefloors or headphone consumption alike.

Kompakt / Border Comm and Precinct favourites MFA make a welcome return with their trademark synths and snappy rhythms complimenting the the originals core melodies, but adding different layers of music and and atmosphere to create a shimmering alternative.
Out: December 2007
